Build it Right…. Public Meeting

Premier MacDonald’s announcement of $10 million to help build a new recreation complex for Lunenburg County far exceeds the province’s $1.4M financial commitment to help build the Mainland Common Recreation Centre.

What gives?

Current plans for the Mainland Common Recreation Centre include the construction of a field house for the 2011 Canada Winter Games, but HRM has not revealed any details to the public on what other features the facility will have.

Rinks?… 50 metre pool?… Running track?… Fitness centre?

We deserve the right to know!

We must act NOW!
